Full marketing support
After meeting Junair at the Advanced Engineering Exhibition, I was commissioned to support them with a new product launch activity. This followed on to supporting them with a rebrand and website redesign project.
Junair had developed an innovative new lighting product to support their main product – Spraybooths – in providing day light equivalent lighting for automotive bodyshops. A first in the industry, the business was keen to roll this product out via social media, advertising and through their industry bodies email campaigns. I helped them by choosing a name for the product and then designing a brand to complement it.
Sirius LED was born. After further investigation into the products features and benefits I was able to write the marketing content required to support the launch.
Junair took out numerous half page adverts in industry publications over the course of 6 months and I supported this with ad design to the publications’ print requirement specification.
Content & PR
The marketing content I produced included blogs, press releases and testimonials from key clients which were featured on the companies website and used as the basis of social media post content.
Blog content (click on the articles to read live)
- Kelvin, Lumen & Lux explained
- The benefits of LED lighting
- The effects of lighting in the workplace
- What is colour temperature and why is it important
- The evolution of lighting at Junair
Social media content

- Email campaigns via industry bodies
Rebrand – Logo Design
To modernise and simplify the logo, the company made the decision to rebrand, dropping the image of the spray gun and the extra ‘spraybooth’ wording.
I supported Junair with design of branded assets such as business stationery and exhibition graphics.
I provided them with a brand manual that was used by their incumbent web design agency – Firecask Ltd – to create the designs for the new website.
As part of the rebranding process Junair decided to update their website. It had become difficult to edit due to an out of date version of WordPress, the content was vast and not easy to navigate and the look and feel needed bringing up to date with the new branding.
Working with digital agency Firecask, I restructured the navigation of the site and collated and rewrote significant chunks of the website content in order to simplify the user experience and cut out clutter.
I provided Firecask with brand guidelines for the redesign and supported their graphic designer with guidance on the overall look and feel until it was refined to the final version and built by Firecask’s developers.
“We met Gillian at a time when Junair needed some marketing support but didn’t want to take on a full time person. She was the perfect solution. Her approach, understanding, style and creativity is exactly what I wanted.”
