Web Design
Case Study
MLG Psychology
Project Overview
Michalla from MLG Psychology approached The Design Grove to design a small single page website to enable them to have a web presence. It was a new venture for Michalla so we supported her with all her technical support as well as design.
Brand Awareness
We sat down together and discussed Michalla’s service offering and helped her to figure out what her value proposition was.
Branding
Based on the perception she wanted to create, we established a professional looking web design based on a Wix template and tweaked and modified the template to suit Michalla’s content.
Blog
I wrote the content for a number of blog articles which was used in Michalla’s social media content.
Social Media
An initial month campaign on social media kicked off Michalla’s business and she started to get enquiries through the website very quickly.
Web Design
Michalla wanted a professional look and feel to her website using muted tones. As a psychologist, she takes her work very seriously and wanted to reflect that in her web design. The font is easy to read and clear.

social media
The initial social media activity focused on dispelling myths about psychology and explaining reasons why someone would need to use her services. It aimed to relate to the audience by providing ongoing mental health awareness and support.
Within a couple of weeks I started to see lots of interest coming through the website, I put the social media on hold because I was at capacity. The website has definitely made an impact.
